Advanced Assessment of Reading Course
For participants who have attended the Understanding Reading and Understanding Writing courses, this intensive course focuses on dynamic, diagnostic assessment. Participants are trained to use the Literacy Assessment Battery for diagnostic assessment of reading difficulties. Participants are provided with copies of key tests in the Literacy Assessment Battery to administer to pupils of their choice. During the course these protocols are scored and interpreted. Individual reports are prepared and individual intervention programmes drawn up. Optional computerised assessment training is available on request.
3 days
